Parking & car charging
Use the designated resort parking, never the lawn. The main arrival area accommodates around 15 cars; larger groups can arrange the upper gravel parking in advance. Keep roads and access routes clear.
Use one car for unloading by LakeHall, then return it to the parking area. For larger event groups, agree parking arrangements with us in advance.
The on-site charger has a Type 2 cable. Open Monta to see the price, start charging and pay.
What to pack
Bring food, drinks, your favourite coffee, swimwear and shower gel. We provide hand soap, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, kitchen towels and a starter supply of toilet paper.
Bring bed linen and towels unless they are included in your package or booked as an extra. Bring any additional toilet paper you may need.

01 · Warm up & unwind
Sauna & jacuzzi
Make an evening of it: enjoy the sauna, take a break outside and settle into the warm jacuzzi.
Reserve a 3-hour private spa session in advance. Sauna and jacuzzi may already be included in your event package; otherwise book them as extras. Check your confirmation for your agreed access.
On each day you use the jacuzzi, add chlorine after use according to the instructions and dosage provided on site.

02 · Out on the lake
A boat trip & fishing
Head out together, explore the lake and bring a fishing rod if you fancy trying your luck.
Boats and Canoe Adventure are optional extras unless your booking says otherwise. Arrange access with us before heading out. Wear life jackets and follow the boating instructions on site.

03 · Pack something good
Walk to the picnic spot
Pack lunch, a blanket and a flask of coffee, then head out for a walk to the picnic spot. Leave time to sit, eat and enjoy the surroundings.
Allow around 20 minutes for the walk to the cliff overlooking the lake. Wear good shoes, pack water and take your rubbish home.

04 · Stay out a little longer
Tripod BBQ & campfire bread
Cook dinner over the open fire with the tripod grill, then wrap bread dough around sticks and bake it slowly over the embers.
Use the designated fire area, check current fire restrictions and never leave the fire unattended. Put it out completely afterwards.

A relaxed evening indoors
Gather for dinner, use the house iPad and follow the in-house instructions for the screen and sound system. Use the equipment instructions in the house, and remember to sign out if you use a personal streaming account.

Continue down to the lakeside area at Bockaberg. Your booking confirmation identifies the buildings and spaces reserved for your group.
Your door code arrives by SMS one day before check-in. Contact us if it has not arrived.
Settle in
Standard check-in is 16:00. With booked early access, arrive from 13:00; housekeeping may still be working until 16:00.
Wedding weekends and other event packages may have different times. The times in your booking confirmation take priority.
Connect to The Beach, the open guest Wi-Fi network. The Calm.estate network is reserved for house devices.
Keep outdoor noise down from 23:00.

04 · Before you leave
Checkout instructions
Standard checkout is at 10:00, or 11:00 with pre-booked late checkout. Your event or wedding package may specify a different time.
- Leave the rooms tidy and reset the beds.
Take all personal belongings and rubbish from every booked room and cabin. Leave mattress protectors in place, fold the duvets and put pillows back as on arrival. Collect hired sheets and towels at the Lodge entrance.
- Finish washing up and shut down the professional dishwasher.
Wash pots and pans, finish all dishwasher cycles and put clean items away. Clean the filter, pull out the drain plug, let the water drain completely and switch the machine off. Wipe kitchen worktops and remove leftover food. Follow the operating instructions beside the machine; contact us if anything is unclear.
- Return LakeHall to its standard furniture layout.
Place 10 tables with chairs in the middle of the dining room and 4 tables with chairs along the sides of the main hall. Stack spare chairs no more than 6 high in the left corner of the dining room. Put the sofa group and rug back in place and return the entrance sofas. Use any different handover layout agreed with us.
- Take all rubbish to the sorting bins outside.
Separate glass, metal, cardboard, plastic, food waste and general waste according to the labels on the outdoor bins. Do not leave mixed bags beside the bins.
- Leave any boats securely moored.
If you used a motorboat, leave it in the water with its motor attached and tie it securely at its designated mooring. Refill the supplied fuel can with the fuel specified on site.
- Check every space before you leave.
Sign out of streaming accounts, collect decorations and check all booked buildings for forgotten belongings. Report damage or equipment problems so we can put them right. Our team takes care of the final cleaning.

Can we drink the tap water?
Yes. The tap water is drinkable and comes from our own water source.
How many people can stay overnight?
There are 54 regular sleeping places: 46 in the Lodge, 2 in The Nook and 6 in three cabins. Wedding packages include the Master Cabin with 2 additional places, bringing the total to 56. For other stays, the Master Cabin is an optional extra and is not part of the standard 54-place booking.
Is the place private for our group?
The buildings and spaces listed in your confirmation are reserved for your group. Ladhus One, Ladhus Two and other areas of Bockaberg can be booked separately. Please respect other guests.
Are sauna, jacuzzi and boats included?
Check your event package: inclusions can differ. Reserve your 3-hour spa slot in advance. Boats and other activities are extras unless included in your confirmation.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
Bring your own or book the linen option unless your package already includes them.
Can we fish in the lake?

Is the house suitable for winter stays?
The house is heated. Boats are unavailable November–April; check your booked spa arrangements for winter stays. Contact us if your group has specific temperature or access needs.
What should we do if the power goes out?

Is there a security deposit?
No security deposit is charged. Guests remain responsible for damage caused by misuse or negligence. Normal wear, technical faults and maintenance remain our responsibility.
What about pets, cleaning and cancellation?
Follow your booking confirmation and our rental terms. Leave the house tidy and complete the short checkout checklist above. Contact us before booking if you have specific requirements.
What is available in the professional kitchen?
LakeHall has a commercial dishwasher, steam cooker, cooking areas, electric griddle, microwave, professional coffee machine, 10-litre water boiler, blender, refrigeration and freezer space. Check the current kitchen and event inventory for your catering plan. Bring your food, oil and seasonings; share special equipment requirements before arrival.
How do we leave the professional dishwasher?
Complete all washing cycles, unload and put clean items away. Clean the filter, pull the drain plug, let the water drain and switch the machine off. Follow the instructions beside the machine; please ask if you need help.
What equipment is available for presentations?
LakeHall has a projector, electric 4-metre screen, Apple TV, PC dongles and an iPad for operation. Test your presentation in advance and bring any adapters your own device needs. Additional event sound equipment can be booked as an extra.
Do we need to make the beds ourselves?
Bring bed linen and towels or arrange the linen add-on unless your package includes them. Confirm any bed-preparation service before arrival. At checkout, leave mattress protectors in place, fold duvets and put pillows back; collect hired linen at the Lodge entrance.
Where are first aid supplies and the defibrillator?
The first aid station and AED are in the LakeHall kitchen. In an emergency call 112.
What bathroom facilities does the Lodge have?
The Lodge has two shared shower rooms with three showers each, plus three separate toilets. Two hair dryers are available. The private cabins use the shared bathrooms in LakeHall; the Master Cabin has its own bathroom.
Can our caterer unload by the kitchen?
Arrange supplier access with us in advance. Caterers can unload at the LakeHall kitchen delivery platform, then return vehicles to the designated parking area. Keep the central resort beyond the barrier free of regular guest traffic.
What if a guest has mobility or accessibility needs?
Contact us before arrival with the guest’s specific needs so we can confirm suitable rooms, routes and bathroom access. The resort includes different buildings and outdoor paths; please do not assume every area is step-free.
Can the double beds be separated?
Yes. All double beds can be separated into two single beds, so you can arrange sleeping places for couples, friends or colleagues. Bunk beds remain as shown in the room allocation.
