If you are considering a hotel or a Swedish herrgård for a family gathering, a self-catering holiday house offers another way to stay together: your own kitchen, shared living rooms and a schedule you set yourselves. Our houses are holiday homes, with meals organised by your group.
Choose Ladhus One or Two in Floda near Gothenburg, or The Villa in Vegby, The Nabbe in Rånnaväg and The Cliff in Tvärred near Ulricehamn. All are in Västra Götaland, with the lake and outdoor experiences close at hand.

Which house fits our group?
The Nabbe accommodates a maximum of 12 guests. The Villa and The Cliff accommodate a maximum of 14 each (The Cliff: stays from May 2027). Ladhus Two sleeps up to 16 and Ladhus One up to 18. Check the individual listing for bedroom layouts and the accommodation included for your booked guest count.
Are the sauna, jacuzzi and boats included?
Sauna included year-round; Ladhus One includes one 3-hour session per stay. Motorboats included May–October. Jacuzzi included May–October at The Villa, The Nabbe and Ladhus Two; Ladhus One books the jacuzzi at The Beach separately at extra cost. Winter jacuzzi is an optional extra; no boats November–April. How much does a stay cost?
Prices vary with dates, length of stay and guest count. Choose a house and enter your dates in our booking system to see availability and the price for your stay. Bed linen & towels are included in the total price for new bookings. Any linen fee is already included in the booking total; optional bed making is extra where offered. Any selected extras are shown during booking.
Where are the houses?
Ladhus One and Ladhus Two are at Bockaberg in Floda, near Gothenburg. The Villa is by Lake Åsunden near Ulricehamn. See each house listing for its location and arrival information.
Can we celebrate a family birthday at the house?
A birthday meal with your booked overnight guests fits a family stay. Keep within the booked guest count and follow the house rules and quiet hours. If you plan extra visitors, amplified music or a larger celebration, contact us before booking so we can agree on a suitable setup.
Can we rent a house for 19 or 20 people?
The individual holiday houses listed here accommodate up to 18 guests. For 19–20 people or more, ask about combining separate houses at Bockaberg in Floda. Availability, sleeping arrangements and gathering spaces need to be confirmed together.
Are these self-catering houses?
Yes. You rent a whole holiday house with its own kitchen and shared spaces for your booked group. Bring groceries and prepare your own meals. Check your selected house for equipment and included facilities.
Can we book for a wedding or a larger event?
Weddings and larger events need a suitable venue and an agreed arrangement. Explore our wedding weekends or tell us what you are planning.
