Your own wedding place by the lake.

A private lakeside wedding setting near Gothenburg, Sweden — where your closest people can celebrate, stay together and create a weekend to remember.

Your own place by the lake

This is not a traditional wedding venue.

Calm Estate is for couples who would rather have a place of their own than a ballroom, a schedule of venue slots or another wedding happening next door.

Here, the lake and the landscape are part of the celebration. Your closest people can stay nearby, meals can stretch out, someone can disappear for a swim, children can slow down, and Sunday morning still belongs to you.

No hotel ballroom No shared event venue No one-evening-only feeling Not a party club

More than one day

The wedding is important. So is everything around it.

Some of the best moments are not on the programme: the first people arriving, a swim before dinner, coffee outside the next morning, a fire by the beach or the conversation that happens after everyone else has gone to bed.

That is why we think about weddings as time together, rather than simply a room for Saturday night.

Friday

Arrive, settle in, meet by the lake, eat something together, take a sauna or simply let everyone find their place.

Saturday

Ceremony, dinner, speeches and celebration — with an indoor anchor when you need it and the lake still present throughout the day.

Sunday

Breakfast, coffee outside, one more swim and enough time for the weekend to end like a weekend rather than an event checkout.

One celebration · different spaces

Everyone together does not mean everyone in the same room.

At Mountain Lake Floda, celebration, sleeping and downtime can happen in different places while still feeling like one shared wedding.

01

LakeHall

The place where everyone comes together: dinner, speeches, music, gathering and the practical event infrastructure.

02

The Lodge

Sleeping, getting ready, families, children, quieter guests and somewhere to step away from the celebration.

03

The lake

Beach, jetty, sauna, swimming, boats and the moments between the programme that often become the ones people remember.

A useful starting point

You should know the scale before you fall in love with the idea.

Our prices change with date and season, but we still want you to have a realistic starting point.

Private house celebrations From around 15,000 SEK

For selected houses and smaller, intimate weddings.

Wedding weekends at The Beach From around 40,000 SEK

Add Ladhus One and/or Ladhus Two depending on your group size and accommodation needs.

Final pricing depends on your date, season, group size and selected setup. Tell us your preferred date and we will show you the current options and price.

How much do you want to do yourself?

Take the place. Or let us help with what comes next.

Some couples want complete freedom. Others want someone to remove decisions, find the missing people or make sure the wedding weekend actually runs as planned.

01 Just give us the place

You know what you want and you are happy to plan it yourselves. We provide the setting and the information you need to use it well.

02 Help us find the right people

Tell us which parts are still missing. We can help connect you with caterers, private chefs, service staff, planners and other local suppliers.

03 Help us build the plan

Get support with priorities, timeline, suppliers, guest flow, styling direction, seating and a realistic weather Plan B.

04 Help us run the weekend

Add on-site support so the wedding day is not the day you become the contact person for every supplier, question and last-minute change.

Your wedding team

You do not need to start with an empty contact list.

We can help you build the team around your wedding and connect you with people who know the area and understand what it takes to make a celebration work here.

Catering

From wedding dinner to more relaxed weekend food.

Private chefs

For smaller dinners and more personal food concepts.

Service staff

People who can keep dinner, drinks and guest flow moving.

Wedding planners

For couples who want more planning or coordination support.

Florals & styling

Help turning the setting into a coherent visual concept.

Photo, music & more

Photographers, DJs, musicians and other specialists around the day.

Planning should create anticipation, not turn your wedding into another project to manage. Clear priorities, realistic timing, the right people and a Plan B give you enough structure to actually enjoy the weekend.

Already booked?

The sales page stops here. The practical planning does not.

Once your venue is booked, you should not need to search old emails for room dimensions, kitchen information, furniture counts, parking instructions or supplier access.

The Beach planning page brings the practical information together so you — or your planner, caterer or AI assistant — can actually use it.

Before you book

A few useful answers.

Do we have to book The Beach for a wedding?

No. Smaller, quiet weddings can work at selected Calm Estate houses. For larger celebrations or weddings needing dedicated event infrastructure, The Beach and the Ladhus properties are the better fit.

How many daytime guests can we have at a private house wedding?

Our smaller private-house weddings are intended to stay intimate and quiet, with a maximum of approximately 20 daytime guests. The exact house and setup still need to be confirmed before booking.

Can everyone stay close to the wedding?

Yes. At Mountain Lake Floda, The Beach can be combined with Ladhus One and/or Ladhus Two so celebration, sleeping, getting ready and quieter spaces can be separated while remaining nearby.

Can we bring our own caterer or private chef?

Yes. The venue model is deliberately flexible. External caterers and private chefs can be part of the setup, and LakeHall includes a professional kitchen.

Can you help us find suppliers?

Yes. We can help connect you with local people for areas such as catering, private chefs, service staff, wedding planning, florals, styling, photography and music.

Is Calm Estate a party venue?

No. The appeal is the opposite: privacy, nature, the lake and a place that belongs to your group for the stay. Weddings need to respect the setting and the surrounding environment.

How do we get an exact price?

Tell us your preferred date, approximate daytime guest count and how many people should stay overnight. We can then show you the suitable setup, current availability and the price for your dates.

Start with your wedding

Tell us what you are imagining.

Your date. Roughly how many people. Who should stay overnight. And what you want the weekend to feel like.

We will help you work out which Calm Estate setup fits — and what it costs for your dates.
